The gym is a beautiful place to take progress pictures. I first started taking progress pictures two years ago, and it has really motivated me to keep going. When you first start out it may feel a little awkward, but you will really be able to see how much you body changes as time goes on.
I take a progress picture every two Fridays to see how I am doing. By following my meal prep steps and keeping to a strict workout schedule, I have fallen in love with my progress.
So my advice to you is take these progress pictures. Whenever you look back, whether it be to last week's photo or last year's photo, any type of positive difference will keep you going.
