Kim Kardashian is one of the biggest advocates of these corsets and let’s be real, who doesn’t want her hourglass shape? But the real question is – do they actually work?
The true reality of these waist-training corsets is that they are just compressing the stomach, and moving the fat elsewhere; no weight loss is actually happening. The trainers definitely help the wearer look thinner, but there is no evidence of long lasting effects. So, there’s no need to go out and drop all that money, deal with the discomfort of wearing a tight corset while working out –when you can get the same benefits without one.
